I love the mix of quiet melancholy and soaring wonder here. Listening makes me feel like I am looking up at the night sky on another world, watching impossible boreal colors dance along the horizon while tall trees sway in the keening wind, and gray-cloaked figures add their own long-dead voices to the joyful lament. My least favorite of his three releases so far, but still quite good. The album feels more...narrative driven than the previous two. Makes me think the three albums are telling a story without words (aside from the speech on a couple songs) and I only now caught on. Archmage Orladin
XIMEUA's debut EP is meditative, organic-sounding synth music inspired by Mexican progressive composers from the last few decades. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 22, 2021

My favorite out of the three I believe. The sound is more aggressive and fits the cover art of what looks like a perilous journey for the protagonist. Fits well at being the second in the trilogy of albums. Every song is good and the cassette tape and package is of good quality. A Great buy that deserves a vinyl edition. Joshua Laleina
